Lincoln, I’m happy that you wrote a post urging readers to be themselves. Our society drives us to want to be competitive if we are to be “somebody important” and to be really beautiful, you must wear fake nails, fake hair and fake smiles. Being able to get to know yourself is one of the most difficult things in life, so I’ve been told. Why not take time to learn how to be the best, most relaxed person that you can be? I believe that chasing hard goals makes time travel faster or at least it appears that way. And yes, I know that if you don’t have a road map to go by in life’s journey, you will end up nowhere. I get that. But constantly striving to make more money, do more things, without knowing who you are and taking time to smell the roses…well in my opinion is not a good way to live. Anyway, I enjoyed your article and I look forward to reading more like this. Thank you.
